ERP Application Consultant

Systematica Inc. is a growing organization that is taking a methodical approach to software consulting for mid-market organizations based in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Systematica Inc. was founded by a management team with strong backgrounds in implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software applications for Fortune 500 companies. Our team believes there is a significant opportunity to bring such proven methodology and professionalism to the local market. We are a Certified Microsoft Business Solution Partner that specializes in implementing Dynamics GP (formally Great Plains) and Dynamics CRM.

We are looking for a Dynamics GP Application Consultant to join our team. This position will work directly with clients in delivering ERP application solutions to meet their business needs. In addition, this person is anticipated to take a leadership role within a dynamic organization in identifying opportunities and developing the business. As the organization grows, this position may take a management role in developing the ERP practice. This individual will also be responsible for assisting in refining internal methodology such as maintaining the company’s deliverable templates and implementation toolset. Consultants operate fairly autonomously with moderate direct supervision.

As with everyone in the organization, this individual is expected to exercise sound judgment within defined best practices and to always engage a client with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Translate client business needs into Dynamics GP and third party software solutions
• Implement and customize Dynamics GP application for Systematica Inc. clients
• Create assigned deliverables (design documentation, course materials, presentations, or others) that are on time, within scope and of the highest quality
• Identify and assist in closing opportunities for additional services that solve client challenges
• Provide both formal training and desk side coaching to Systematica Inc. clients
• Share best practices with other members of the consulting team
• Document requirements, scope work, and create accurate estimates for prospective client engagements
• Plan and lead internal and external meetings
• Participate in internal projects (i.e. internal improvement initiatives)

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years experience in a business consulting environment (preferable large firm) with specific focus in software implementation, processes and/or project based experience
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and Windows Server 2003
• Demonstrable competency in using standard desktop applications for word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing and project management
• Demonstrable competency developing client customizations, implementing packaged software, performing customer migrations and conducting classroom training
• Must have experience working on small and midsize projects
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
• Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
• Good oral, written and presentation skills
• Must be willing to drive potentially long distances to client site locations

Applicable Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified Professional
• Microsoft Dynamics GP certifications
  

Desired Requirements:

• Experience in implementing Dynamics GP, Sage, Epicor or similar Enterprise Resource Planning Solution
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server 2005, Windows Server 2003
• Understanding of SQL Reporting Services
• SharePoint administration
• Development experience – ASP, .NET and/or C#
