ERP/CRM Technical Consultant

Systematica Inc. is a growing organization that is taking a methodical approach to software consulting for mid-market organizations based in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Systematica Inc. was founded by a management team with strong backgrounds in implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software applications for Fortune 500 companies. Our team believes there is a significant opportunity to bring such proven methodology and professionalism to the local market. We are a Certified Microsoft Business Solution Partner that specializes in implementing Dynamics GP (formally Great Plains) and Dynamics CRM.

We are looking for a Dynamics GP and CRM Technical Consultant to join our team. This position will work to support Implementation Managers and Application Consultants serving across multiple clients in delivering the technical aspects of ERP and CRM application solutions to meet customer needs. In addition, this person is anticipated to take a leadership role within a dynamic organization in identifying technical opportunities and providing strategic direction in an effort to develop the business. As the organization grows, this position may take a management role in growing the team of technical consultants. This individual will also be responsible for assisting in refining internal methodology such as maintaining the company’s deliverable templates and implementation toolset. Consultants operate fairly autonomously with moderate direct supervision. Work is performed at the company’s office located in Long Beach, home and client locations.

As with everyone in the organization, this individual is expected to exercise sound judgment within defined best practices and to always engage a client with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Translate client technical needs into Dynamics GP, CRM and third party modifications, integrations and reports
• Perform screen modifications and enhance application logic for Dynamics GP and CRM applications for Systematica Inc. clients
• Create assigned deliverables (technical design documentation, course materials, presentations, or others) that are on time, within scope and of the highest quality
• Scope and design application integrations between Microsoft Dynamics products and legacy applications
• Provide both formal training and desk side coaching to Systematica Inc. clients
• Share best practices with other members of the consulting team
• Plan and lead internal and external meetings
• Initiate and participate in internal projects (i.e. internal improvement initiatives)
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years experience in a technical consulting environment (preferable large firm) with specific focus in software modifications, integrations, reporting and/or project based experience
• Extensive knowledge of the following technologies:
  • JavaScript
  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • ASP.Net
  • Windows Server
  • SQL Server
  • T-SQL
  • Visual Studio
• Demonstrable competency in using standard Microsoft desktop applications for word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing and project management
• Demonstrable competency developing client customizations, installing packaged software, performing customer data migrations and conducting classroom training
• Must have experience working on small and midsize projects
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
• Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
• Good oral, written and presentation skills
• Must be willing to drive potentially long distances to client site locations
  

Applicable Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified Professional
• Microsoft Dynamics GP and CRM certifications
  

Desired Requirements:

• Experience in performing technical work with Dynamics GP, Dynamics CRM and Scribe Insight applications
• Understanding of SQL Reporting Services
• SharePoint administration
• Development experience – ASP, .NET, XML and/or C#
